Senior Acoustic Consultant

They are seeking a Senior Acoustics Consultant to join their highly esteemed and rapidly growing team in Manchester, England.

Requirements

• Holds a bachelor's degree or equivalent acoustic-related experience whilst also holding corporate membership with the IOA
• Experienced in undertaking both noise and environmental assessments in addition to relevant and up-to-date knowledge of acoustical related legislation, regulation, and British standards.
• Experienced in RIBA design stages of projects and collaborating with architects on internal building acoustical design, in addition to undertaking BREEAM assessments along with HVAC noise measurements and prediction.

Duties

• The ability to liaise with many stakeholders across different stages of development and demonstrate strong commercial acumen is essential.
• Collaborate with your team and design teams on plans for internal acoustic designs
• Utilise a wide range of noise modelling software to undertake a thorough analysis these packages include INSUL, CaDnaA, and Microsoft Excel.
