A growing and forward thinking Boutique Advisory Firm is seeking a Junior Senior Accountant to join their busy Belfast team.

The Role:
Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, providing exceptional service and support
Conduct monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet nominals
Prepare and process journals accurately and efficiently
Finalize management account packs to meet client needs and deadlines
Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with regulations
Assist in the preparation of financial statements for various entities including corporate entities, LLP’s, and consolidations
Handle the preparation of Financial Conduct Authority (“FCA”) regulatory returns
Review and prepare P11d and PAYE Settlement Agreement (“PSA”) workings
Collaborate effectively with auditors, ensuring smooth communication and information exchange
Engage with clients virtually and face-to-face, fostering strong relationships
Provide guidance and support to junior team members as needed
Adhere to any ad-hoc tasks required by the team
The Person:
Demonstrated ability to prepare management accounts with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with accounting systems such as Xero preferred but not required.
Familiarity with financial statements preparation using Word & Excel or similar software is desirable
Qualified or studying towards a professional qualification (ACCA/ACA) is a plus
Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
Motivated to thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic, and challenging environment
Must possess a valid work permit for the UK
