Interim Accountant
Contract Duration: 6 monthsLocation: FavershamJob Type: Full-time, Hybrid We are currently seeking an Interim Accountant to support our senior finance team for an initial 6-month period. This is a hands-on role within a global organisation known for its fast-paced growth and long-established history. The ideal candidate will be
able to work flexibly, with a hybrid working arrangement in place. Day-to-day of the role:
Assisting with Month End and Year End processes.Producing Statutory Accounts in compliance with relevant accounting standards.Preparing Corporation Tax and VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Assisting with the Budgeting cycle, including reporting on variances to support financial decision-making.Liaising with both internal and external auditors to facilitate audits.Undertaking other ad-hoc finance projects and tasks as required to support the finance team. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in accounting roles, with the ability to handle Month End and Year End independently.Strong knowledge of producing Statutory Accounts.Experience with Corporation Tax and VAT returns.Familiarity with budgeting processes and variance reporting.Excellent communication skills for liaising with auditors and stakeholders.Ability to manage ad-hoc finance projects and tasks effectively.
