Senior Accountant

A global Insurance leader with a top tier presence in the London Market is looking for an Senior Accountant to join their finance department to produce and analyse underwriting information and management reporting to support the growth our business. .Key Responsibilities:Provision of regular reporting for all underwriting entities in the Group, to a diverse list of stakeholders, including but not limited to Business Partners, FP&A, Group AccountingReporting will cover UK GAAP Actuals, Forecasts, Plans and Quarterly SII reportingTo participate in, and have responsibility for, elements of the financial controls frameworkReview work produced by wider teamIdentify process improvement opportunities in the collation and presentation of Management InformationSupport ad hoc requests for information on the performance of the key operating entitiesAssist the wider Finance Function as required in tasks such as Payments approvals and knowledge sharing sessionsThe successful candidate for this Senior Accountant role will need to be a qualified Accountant with Insurance market background, preferably Lloyd's. Strong knowledge of accounting concepts surrounding insurance, including UK GAAP and SII is also required for this position.
