Senior Accountant

Exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join our client a Packaging Solutions company based in Littleborough on a full time, permanent basis. The accountant will be responsible for managing and coordinating the accounting team and be the main point of contact for auditors, banks and insurance brokers.

Accountant Position Overview

• Draft Financial Statements
• Draft management report shared with Supervisor
• Support to tax advisor with tax returns
• Manage payment 's proposals based on contractual due dates and planning of treasury.
• Support the activities of local & Group Accounting & Controlling.
• Train and develop Accounting Team.
• Reference for external auditors, tax authorities, banking and insurance brokers.
• Support the local management team in issues of proper fiscal management.

Accountant Position Requirements

• Desirable ACCA / CIMA Qualification
• Good knowledge of ERP Systems (preferable QAD knowledge)
• Good knowledge of Excel including Pivot Tables
• Minimum of 7 years post qualification work experience in accounting and finance.
• Managing staff and proven organisational skills.
• Working to SOX requirements. (Would be an advantage)
• Fluent in English, knowledge of German (would be an advantage)

Accountant Position Remuneration

�35,000 - �45,000 per annum (dependant on experience)

25 days annual leave + bank holidays
9am - 5pm
Monday - Friday
5% employer pension contribution
