Your strong customer orientation will help you to actively promote the "FE fundinfo" brand. Working closely with clients to understand their business goals and challenges and collaborate with internal teams to develop solutions that drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction. Your key responsibilities as a Senior Account Manager will be: Responsible for a portfolio of existing client accounts within the business and will be targeted to retain and grow those accounts
Primary relationship contact within the existing client account
Retain and upsell clients by understanding client’s business and requirements to ensure the highest level of service and maximise all potential opportunities
Manage and re-negotiate contract renewals (including price increases) on an ongoing basis
Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities within your portfolio and oversee set-up, order forms and invoicing Developing high-level relationships with this portfolio of clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders both internal & external
Maintaining regular contact with clients and contributing to growth and retention initiatives
Providing feedback to cross-functional internal teams and overseeing the process to ensure customer needs are met.
Identifying account risks and creating and implementing risk plans through to a positive resolution
Fully understand our proposition and be able to demo/discuss products/ services in detail and remain up to date on new initiatives
Manage the client cancellation process
Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly objectives to internal stakeholders
Forecast and track key account metrics in Salesforce
Maintain and develop industry and product knowledge by participating in training opportunities (internal sessions), reading professional publications (e.g. FE Trustnet, Money Marketing, FT, Citywire, Boring Money) and sharing knowledge with the wider team. Maintaining personal networks via LinkedIn
Attend and represent the company at marketing, conferences and Industry events Leading Responsibilities:
Lead from the front, act as a role model and set the example for other team members
Motivate and lead your region to achieve commercial targets and key KPI’s
Conduct regular 1-1's, coaching and performance reviews with your mentee
Ensure the team is diligently developing sales pipelines, maintaining pipeline hygiene and accurately updating the CRM
Communicate commitments to stakeholders
Help onboard, train, and upskill junior members of the Account Management team
A positive voice of change within the team, contributing and leading in team meetings, training sessions and wider discussions
You embrace change and are always looking for ways to use to your own and the team's advantage
To join us as a Senior Account Manager you will need the following experience and skills:
Ideally have 3+ years Financial Services experience You have a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, including governance structures and recent legislation Having a familiarity with advisory processes is highly preferred You have the desire to take on leadership responsibilities
Have the ability to understand and interpret client data in a clear and commercial manner
You are able to present and influence effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
You can prioritise client demands and leadership responsibilities
You have excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills both internally and externally
Are can challenge effectively
You have experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
You are a natural relationship builder
Able to think critically and problem-solve You have experience using a CRM tool, i.e. Salesforce
