…Gasp! is on the hunt for a seasoned Senior Account Manager (we call them Senior 'Client Partners' but let's not worry about that right now) to join our team.This smart and effective client lead will support the team in delivering ‘proper marketing’ made up of robust research, brilliant brand strategy, and 'Creatively Memorable & Boringly Effective’ marketing executions. Reporting to the Department Head and two founders, they will have a proven track record of identifying opportunities to expand client relationships, drive revenue growth, and lead effective client strategy.We want someone who shares our fearless attitude, is keen to lead, and develop a pivotal role within a highly respected*, growing, marketing agency. Client partnership is our beating heart and we are on a mission to make our team best-in-class; up for it?What Will You Be Doing?Get stuck in from the off; get to know our clients’ businesses, their industry, and markets to understand their challenges and offer strategic guidance.Take a lead on creating opportunities for us to deepen our relationship with existing clients and relish the challenge to help convert new ones.Grab hold of client and new business requests that come in, and expertly lead on formulating our responses, demonstrating our expertise and value from the first chat.Get involved in pitching, proposals, pricing and proactive thinking with the founders and team.Lead research (often with a partner), brand positioning and marketing strategy projects.Lead client presentations, meetings, and workshops, confidently pitching strategy, research results, creative, performance, and navigating challenging situations like the coolest of the cucumbers.Mentor your growing Client Partnership team, identifying needs and proactively working to support individual growth plans.Stand out in a small team and shape the team, approach, and client list of the future.We’d like you to have/be:Marketing/Media/Creative Qualification(s).Ideallyat least one of the Marketing Week/Ritson Mini MBAs.5+ years of experience as a Account Manager and/or Senior Account Manager within a marketing consultancy, agency, or similar environment.Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships, driving revenue growth, and delivering successful marketing campaigns.Strong analytical skills, you can make sense of data, identify opportunity, and make informed recommendations.Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely and negotiate confidently.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and client needs.Super organised; Trello/Synergist experience would be helpful.An interest in the Behavioural Sciences and Consumer Psychology.Brave and prepared to speak up.A strong sense of humour.And most importantly, happy to say,“I don’t know right now, but I’ll find out”.*They sayI'm a big fan of ...Gasp!– Mark RitsonThe most creative of creative marketing agencies around.”– Dave HarlandI love the attitude, POV and tone of voice that emanates from ...Gasp!”– Blair Enns...Gasp! call themselves a proper marketing agency and they deliver that in spades.
