We’re working with a large integrated agency who are looking for a Senior Account Manager to work in a small on-site team within on one of the primary clients, a major financial services group.
Our Client
A global agency with a strong heritage, they work with clients across a wide range of sectors. They are well-established and create a wide range of output including print, TV, digital and social campaigns.They work with well-known consumer and some b2b clients. It’s a hybrid role with 2 days in the office.
The Role
You’ll be the day-to-day client lead on a major financial services client, leading a small on-site team and reporting in to an Account Director based at the agency HQ. This is a retained client and you’ll lead on all work coming into the agency, working closely with the client to plan campaigns and projects, preparing creative and studio briefs (mostly print), and liaising and motivating a small on-site creative team. You’ll proactively build client relationships, looking for opportunities to assist their business by introducing additional agency services. There will be weekly travel to the agency HQ in Manchester.
You
You’ll be a proven agency Account Manager, with a background in an advertising, design or branding agency environment, but you'll definitely need a strong understanding of print. You’ll have a track record in delivering projects and campaigns for retained clients to deliver expected margins, as well as having a keen attention to detail and budget management skill. You’ll be an organised self-starter who will be able to pro-actively grow the opportunities that present themselves from an existing, retained client.
