Job Title: Property & Casualty Account Handler Location: London Salary: £50,000Industry: Wholesale InsuranceLawes Consulting Group are working exclusively with a top 10 contributor to the Lloyds market. Due to the success of the company they are looking to grow their Property & Casualty team. You will be responsible for negotiating the renewal of UK Property and Casualty accounts, undertaking all aspects in the placing and maintenance of risks.

Responsibilities Ensure a professional and efficient level of service is maintained to support the team
Request relevant additional information required by underwriters from agents to enable them to consider requests further
Advise brokers of acceptance/refusal of cover and provide written confirmation of terms
Ensure responses are promptly requested and received from underwriters and that agent is informed accordingly
Preparation of presentations to Insurers/use of online portals for new and
renewal client Negotiate the renewal of Commercial accounts ensuring that the agreed renewal retention rate is exceeded
Promptly convey instructions and premiums to underwriters
Update MI/Statistics using the in-house computer system as necessary
Investigate and resolve accounts queries as requested
Any other duties as directed in connection with the smooth running of the team
Knowledge & Skills: High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to confidently converse with colleagues, sub-agents and underwriters, written and verbally
Good admin and computer skills
