The position offers a unique opportunity to work in a mission-driven startup that offers data tools designed to guide the real estate market to a net-zero carbon future. Our platform allows investors and fund managers to get meaningful and actionable data that enables them to improve their assets' ESG performance and reduce their footprint on the planet.Your main responsibility is to develop and execute the sales strategy for Scaler. This will require a focus on attracting new clients and building positive relationships with partners (such as consultants and industry associations) in the real estate sector.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a business development strategy that meets (or preferably exceeds) our growth targetsIncrease client base by identifying and managing a pipeline of leads and opportunitiesBuild and establish productive relationships with leadsProvide sales input on market needs and pricing to ensure product successPartner with consultants and potential clients to understand their business needs and objectives, feeding these into the product development processWork closely with colleagues on opportunities, marketing materials and case studiesDevelop in-depth knowledge of market trends and needs and use that to help guide or product roadmapRepresent Scaler at external international events, conferences, working groups, etc.Requirements5+ years experience in successful attainment of sales targets within the investment, asset management or financial sector.
