Job Overview:

As a Day-to-Day Teaching Assistant with Tradewind Recruitment, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with special needs and/or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We work with a variety of schools, including those dedicated to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and alternative provision settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs.
  • Assist in creating an inclusive and positive learning environment.
  • Support the teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Adapt to various educational settings, from primary to secondary age groups.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with students with special needs or SEMH needs.
  • Flexibility to work on a day-to-day basis.
  • Passion for making a difference in the lives of students.
  • Ability to adapt to different school environments.
