SEND Teaching Assistant

Axcis Education are currently working with a lovely primary school in York who are looking for a special needs Teaching Assistant to work on a 121 basis with a KS2 pupil who need a little extra care and attention. The school is part of a large multi academy trust and is located in a small village on the outskirts of York and is currently rated as 'RI' by Ofsted.
You will be working on a contract basis Monday to Friday 08:30 - 15:30.
Requirements:
Experience of working on a 121 basis with SEND pupils.
Experience of working with pupils with SEND/SEMH needs.
The ability to foster positive relationships with pupils and staff.
A compassionate and patient approach, and a genuine commitment to supporting the educational development of students.
Flexibility to work across other years groups and children as and when required.
Strong behaviour management skills
