SEND Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a Part Time Teaching Assistant to support a school in the East Riding. The role is either every Morning or every afternoon.

Position: Behaviour Teaching Assistant
Location: East Riding/West Hull Villages
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing

Payment: �45-�50 per session. The session are either morning or afternoon.

We are supporting a Primary Setting in the East Riding who require support on a part time basis to work with a child on a 1:1 basis. The role is yet to be assigned a year group but the role will be 1:1 with a pupil. The child will have an EHCP and requires a TA to support them in the classroom. The school has excellent SEND support for pupils with an experienced team, SENDCO to support and excellent facilities in school. The school are ideally seeking someone who has had experience of supporting SEND in a special needs school or in other settings with challenging behaviour.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide support to students with behavioural difficulties within the classroom setting.
• Assist the teacher in implementing behaviour management strategies and interventions.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Work one-on-one with students who require additional support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement individualised education plans.
• Monitor and record student progress and behaviour.
• Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Possess a valid DBS on the update service.
• Submit a CV with full career history.
• Provide at least two satisfactory references.
• Hold a valid right to work in the UK.
