SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: Cheadle, Stockport

About the Role:

Are you a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant with a heart for supporting children with complex needs? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy making a positive impact on young learners?

We are recruiting for a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school in Cheadle. This role will primarily involve working 1:1 with a SEND pupil with complex needs, providing tailored support to help them reach their full potential.

In addition to 1:1 work, you will also play a valuable role in the school's dedicated SEND provision unit. Here, you will collaborate with the team to support the general class, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Who You Are:

• A highly experienced Teaching Assistant with a proven track record of working successfully with SEND pupils.
• Ideally hold a Team Teach qualification or a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• A patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic individual with a commitment to inclusion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
