Axcis are working with multiple schools in the Lewisham area that support primary and secondary aged children with a range of different special educational needs and disabilities.
As a SEND teacher you will be teaching students in a special school who could not access learning in a mainstream setting. This is typically associated with ASD, SEMH and challenging behaviours. The classes are around 8 pupils with 3 or 4 teaching assistants per class.

Working with students with complex needs •
Deliver creative and engaging lessons •
Working with primary and secondary ages students
What you will need:

UK QTS •
Knowledge and understanding of SEND •
Strong classroom management skills •
A minimum of 2 references to cover the last year •
A DBS on the update service (or willing to pay for a new one)
