Job Title: SEND Programme Lead

Location: Haringey, London

Contract Type: 3-month hybrid contract

Rate: �500/day (Outside IR35)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced SEND Programme Lead to join a local authority in Haringey. As the SEND Programme Lead, you will play a crucial role in partnering with the Department for Education's (DfE) Delivering Better Value in SEND programme, ensuring strategic delivery and positive outcomes for children and families in Haringey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take senior-level responsibility for the strategic system-wide delivery of the Safety Valve programme, ensuring evidence-based practices and positive outcomes.
  • Lead and manage the programme ensuring compliance with statutory and legislative frameworks, performance management, and achievement of set efficiencies and targets.
  • Provide effective leadership, project management, and strategic management, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Requirements:

* An appropriate degree level, professional qualification, or significant experience of working on Project or Programme management

* A recognised management qualification or evidence of participation in an organisational leadership or management development program

* Project planning and process management skills, with knowledge of project principles techniques and tools such as risk management, project life cycle, and quality controls

* Substantial experience and extensive knowledge of developing and managing innovative Projects and Programs, including preferably with Children's Services

* Extensive knowledge of Children Services

* Demonstrable experience of achieving successful outcomes for Projects and Programs
