About the school - SENCO:

As our new SENCO, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our students with SEN receive the support they need to achieve their full potential. Our school is committed to providing the highest quality education for all of our students, including those with special educational needs and this is evidenced through the school receiving an accreditation from National Autistic Society and recently achieving a Makaton Friendly status.

About the role - SENCO:

You will lead and manage our SEN provision, working closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create personalised learning plans for our students with SEN. You will be responsible for identifying and assessing students with SEN and ensuring that all staff are trained and equipped to provide effective support.

About you - SENCO:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about SEN, and who has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by students with SEN and their families. You will have a proven track record of working with students with SEN and be able to demonstrate your ability to create and implement effective support plans.
