SEND Teaching Assistant (Full-time, Temporary)

South Tyneside

£415 - £435 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

We are looking for a SEND TA to work on a full-time basis at a school in South Tyneside. This role will involve working with a child on a 1:1 basis across the week who has additional needs; supporting the pupil to access their learning. The role will start ASAP and will be until July in the first instance. This schools has a strong ethos of inclusivity for all and ensures to achieve this by providing children with the tools for success in all aspects of school life.

Requirements

The desired SEND Teaching Assistant will have;

-          Experience of working with primary school aged children

-          Experience of working with pupils with SEND

-          A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

-          An ability to work as part of a team

-              Minimum level 2 TA qualification
