This delightful Primary School in Dartford has an urgent requirement for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work closely with a Year 4 child with additional needs.
This welcoming Primary School offers a well resourced learning environment with bright classrooms and a good SEN provision. The SEN Teaching Assistant will join a friendly and supportive team on a long-term, contract basis.
The position will involve 1:1 work with a Year 4 child, you will focus on the child's academic and social progression with the support of the class teacher. You will alsooccasionallybe required to support small groups of KS2 students with class work.
This role would suit an experienced TA or SEN Teaching Assistant who has worked with primary children with Autism, ADHD, MLD, SLD or Global Delay.

Previous TA or SEN Teaching Assistant experience in a primary classroom environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to use your initiative
Proven experience of managing challenging behaviour
