SEN Teaching Assistant

We have a brilliant full time SEN Teaching assistant role available in a thriving Secondary School.
The SEN teaching assistant role will allow you to work with pupils on either a 1-1 or group basis supporting them socially, emotionally and academically.
This SEN Teaching Assistant role is ideal for those wishing to carve a career in teaching or a psychology discipline.
SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
Work with students who have additional learning and behavioural needs
1:1 and group work
Support the schools teachers
Offering a calm learning environment
Build and develop classroom knowledge and skills
SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:
Prior SEN / education experience
Compassionate and patient manner
Strong communication skills
Ability to work as an individual and part of a team
Good availability – long-term and short-term roles
DBS required
