Job Opportunity: SEN Teacher Assistant

Position: SEN Teacher Assistant
Location: Northamptonshire
Rate: �80 - �100 per day
We are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teacher Assistant to join a supportive school environment in Northamptonshire. As an SEN Teacher Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to students with a range of SEN, including ADHD, Autism, and other learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with SEN pupils, providing one-to-one or small group support as directed by the SENCO and classroom teachers.
- Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and valued.
- Collaborate effectively with teaching staff and external professionals to meet the diverse needs of SEN pupils.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to inform future interventions and support strategies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with SEN pupils is essential.
- A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of students with SEN.
- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is highly desirable.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) would be advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
