Are you an experienced or aspiring Teaching Assistant who would like to work in an outstanding SEN school in Wimbledon?
We are working with an SEN school who are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join their team as SEN Learning Support Assistants. This school provides a nurturing environment for children aged 4 to 19 with a variety of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, including Profound and Complex Needs. They are currently offering both full-time and part-time positions.
For this SEN Teaching Support Assistant role, you will:


  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
  • Support classroom teachers in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their social and emotional development.
  • Assist with personal care tasks as needed, demonstrating a willingness to meet the unique needs of each student.

Requirements for this SEN Learning Support Assistant role include: -


  • Previous experience in working, caring, or volunteering with individuals who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and/or Complex Needs is essential.
  • A caring and empathetic nature, with a genuine passion for supporting the educational and personal development of children with diverse needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of the students.
  • A willingness to undergo any necessary training in personal care tasks.
