Hays Education have recently seen an increased need for local Teaching Assistants in SEN Schools across Northamptonshire for day-to-day and long-term supply.
Here at Hays, we work with a number of schools across Northamptonshire, covering the areas of Northampton, Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough, Rushden, Daventry, Towcester, Brackley and all the in between! This means as a Teaching Assistant working through Hays you will have local work in your local area covering schools that only you want to work in.
We are currently recruiting on behalf of an SEN School in Kettering for children aged 11-18 with additional needs relating to cognition and learning. The school supports approximately 250 students and believes in supporting its students in preparing for adulthood. There is a fantastic offering to support the students with this, including a full hair and beauty salon, an on site bungalow, and an emotional support dog! The school has created its own curriculum to support the students and their development into adults.
Your new role
We are currently recruiting for a full time Teaching Assistant to join the team ASAP on a temporary - permanent basis. We are looking for exceptional people to work with exceptional pupils who have a range of additional needs.

The appointed person will be expected to make a real and positive impact to the lives of children who have a range of care needs, life experiences and personalities that makes every day varied and interesting. You will be able to successfully build trusting student relationships and motivate and encourage student(s) as required by providing levels of individual attention, reassurance and help with living and learning tasks as appropriate.
What you\'ll need to succeed
The appointed candidates will have a minimum of 1 years' experience working with children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs or Autism Spectrum Conditions.
