The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant - Hackney

As a SEN teaching assistant, you will be required to work both inside and outside of the classroom as part of your role. It will be your responsibility to support a child on a 1:1 basis. Besides working with children who may have similar needs, you will also be working with other children who may also have similar needs. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting smaller groups of children who are lower ability and who need extra support with their academic studies as they progress through their schooling. A teaching assistant working with students with special needs may be required to carry out interventions outside the classroom. As a classroom assistant, you will work closely with the teacher to assist in the classroom activities and help with the daily tasks.
