SEN Teaching Assistant - September 2024

One of Tradewinds biggest clients is now looking to appoint a strong 121 SEN Teaching Assistant to start with them in September 2024. This role would entail, support for a student in Reception in the mornings and support for a student in Year 2 in the afternoons. Both children are autistic and need that extra support within the classroom. The desired Teaching assistant will have experience working 121 with children with autism. Creating fun and engaging ways for the child to learn, benign resilient and patient is also a key skill within this role.

Key attributes in you:

  • Passion for working with primary aged children
  • Experience working with SEN children (specifically Autism)
  • A caring and nurturing practise
  • Willingness to help and support where needed
  • Take initiative and collaborate with the teacher and parents
