SEN Teaching Assistant - Gateshead

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are currently seeking two dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team at a school in Gateshead.

Role:

Position: KS1 KS2 Teaching Assistant with ASD experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30-15:30
Qualification: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Duration: Immediate start until the end of summer termResponsibilities:

Provide support to children with Education, Health, and Care plans, focusing on primary ASD needs
Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies
Collaborate with teachers to create and deliver engaging learning activities
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environmentRequirements:

Proven experience working with children with ASD and EHCPs
Possession of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
Strong communication and teamwork skills
