SEN Teacher

We are proud to be supporting a fantastic SEN School in Lowestoft, Suffolk which is looking to appoint an experienced SEN Teacher. The SEN Teacher will be working with learners with Complex Needs and ideally be primary trained, due to pupils functioning at a lower primary level in Lowestoft, Suffolk. The successful SEN Teacher must be commutable to Lowestoft Suffolk, have a nurturing approach and have experience in educating young people with Complex Needs.

SEN Teacher Responsibilities:

Plan bespoke education for learners with complex needs.

Work closely with other professionals, such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and support staff, to coordinate services and provide an inclusive approach to learner’s education.

Deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the educational and emotional needs of the learners.

Work in partnership with, peers, parents, and carers in Lowestoft, Suffolk

Use the whole school facilities to ensure learners have access to the best possible education.

Be part of the whole school’s approach to preparing learners for adulthood

SEN Teacher Requirements:

Be committed to striving for the best outcome for the young people you work with

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant experience

Supporting young people with complex needs

Approachable and have the needed attributes to engage with learners with complex needs.

Available Monday – Friday 08:30 – 16:00

Commutable to Lowestoft, Suffolk
