Position: SEN Assistant Headteacher
Location: Chesterfield Area
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Term Time Only

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the SEN department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each student.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support student progress.
Provide guidance and professional development to staff on SEN best practices.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SEN provision and interventions.
Foster a positive, inclusive school culture where every student feels valued and supported.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with substantial experience in SEN education.
Proven leadership experience within a school setting.
Strong knowledge of SEN legislation, policies, and best practices.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
A compassionate and patient approach to working with students with diverse needs.
DBS on the update service or willing to get one.
