SEN KS1 Teacher

Location: Crewe

Hours: 8:30am - 4pm�(Monday to Friday)

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic SEN KS1 Teacher to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience working with children with special educational needs, an enhanced DBS�and the ability to teach a variety of subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess a broad and balanced curriculum for KS1 students with special educational needs


• Create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment


• Develop and adapt teaching materials to meet the individual needs of students


• Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers


• Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and external professionals to enhance student learning and development


• Implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and support strategies

Requirements:

• Minimum of one year of experience working in an SEN environment


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)


• Enhanced DBS�


• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and experience in teaching a variety of subjects


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting students with special educational needs
