Position: SEN English Teacher
Salary Range: £120-£180 per day
Location: St Austell
Start Date: Immediately

Do you have a passion for making a significant impact on young learners' lives? Do you possess the skills to promote positive behaviour in a school setting? If so, GSL Education is looking for a dedicated SEN English Teacher to join a prestigious school in St Austell.

About the Role:


  • Use your expertise as an SEN English Teacher to design individualised learning plans that cater to the unique needs and abilities of students with special educational needs.
  • Provide differentiated instruction and support to students with a variety of learning difficulties, including autism, dyslexia, and ADHD.
  • Work in collaboration with other professionals, such as educational psychologists and speech therapists, to create comprehensive support strategies for students.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported in their academic and personal development.
  • Monitor student progress and assess their individual needs, adapting teaching methods and resources as needed.

Requirements:


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience working with students with special educational needs as a SEN English Teacher.
  • Strong understanding of various learning difficulties and disabilities, along with effective strategies for supporting students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning.
  • Candidates with previous experience and those with a valid driving license and access to a vehicle will be prioritised.
