Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Autism Teaching Assistant to provide specialized support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Newham. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment, helping students with ASD thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), adapting strategies and interventions to meet their individual needs.
  • Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and SENCOs to implement personalized support plans and accommodations.
  • Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities, promoting their independence and confidence.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour, communicating effectively with parents and colleagues.

Requirements:
