The firm provides a mix of home to office hybrid working, flexible hours with an excellent work life balance and team focused culture, along with competitive salary and benefitsJob DescriptionThe main responsibilities for this Semi Senior Outsourcing Management Accountant role based in Oxford will include:Oversee/carry out bookkeeping and data processing using accounting systems of the client or appropriate accounting system.Oversee/prepare VAT returns.Prepare management accounts file in required format and structure.Complete monthly / quarterly reporting pack including P&L, B/S, budgets and actual, debtors / creditors aging analysis, cashflow and commentary.Implement appropriate accounting systems and advise on improvement where needed.Undertake training of clients and junior team members.Manages portfolio approximately 20-30 micro/small clients on a mixture of weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.Completion and submission of timesheets within set deadlines.Effective use of IT including excel, accounts packages, outlook.To successfully manage a team and their workload and development.The Successful ApplicantTo be the ideal candidate for this Semi Senior Outsourcing Management Accountant opportunity in Oxford you will :Be either Level 4 AAT qualified and/or already studying towards your ACCA qualificationHave experience preparing VAT returns and management accountsBe able to use accounts production packages (such as Xero, Sage 50 Accounts, Quickbooks) and Excel.Have recent experience in an accountancy practiceCommunicate effectively at all levels with colleagues and clients.Able to organise and manage time efficiently and effectively.Delegates where desirable and helps others to develop.Keeps line manager informed of progress and potential problems including actual vs budget.Documents work clearly and concisely.Highlights potential business opportunities to line manager.What's on OfferThe benefitsIn return, The firm offer a 37.5 hour working week Monday to Friday, and an excellent benefits package including competitive salary, 32 days' holiday (including bank and public holidays), company pension, private medical healthcare and wellbeing programme, pleasant working environment, excellent career progression opportunities and comprehensive study support.This website has app functionality.
