Supply Desk is excited to partner with a pioneering SEN school in Medway to find an exceptional Primary SEMH Teacher / SEN Teacher. This position is perfect for someone dedicated to impacting children with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

With a commitment to small class sizes (5-8 students per class) and a collaborative approach, we ensure that each child receives the attention and tailored education they deserve.

Your Role:


  • Educate and Inspire: Craft and execute dynamic lesson plans that cater to the needs of students with SEMH and ASD.
  • Create a Nurturing Environment: Use innovative behavior management strategies to maintain a safe and engaging classroom atmosphere.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with a team of skilled teaching assistants, therapists, and families to foster comprehensive educational strategies.
  • Monitor and Communicate Progress: Keep detailed records and communicate regularly with parents and colleagues about student achievements and challenges.

We Are Looking For:


  • A professional with a UK recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, Teach First, SCITT) and QTS.
  • Experience in managing SEMH, ASD, or similar educational settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and parents.
  • A commitment to personal and professional development.
  • Ability to obtain an Enhanced DBS check.
