Self employed delivery driver

Job Title: Self Employed Delivery Driver with own van

Location: Carlisle + Surroundings

Pay rate: between £1.40-  £2/stop, up to 150 stops per day.

Shift: Monday to Friday

Type: Temp to perm

Start Date: Immediately

Regional Recruitment has the pleasure to work alongside a successful distributer in the Carlisle area, the ideal candidate will be carrying out the following duties & responsibilities:

• Carry out vehicle inspections to ensure that the vehicle is road worthy.
• Maintain the vehicle clean & safe
• Be responsible to deliver correct item to the right address.
• Maintain a driving log & complete daily paperwork to ensure that each delivery is carried out correctly.
• Ensure you follow local driving laws & road regulations.
• You will be required to deliver to a minimum of 45 parcels.

Please be aware that:

• The ideal candidate WILL NEED TO BE SELF EMPLOYED, OWN A VAN AND OWN BUSINESS INSURANCE.
• Must hold a full UK driver’s license with a maximum of 6 points.
