About the role
Title – Security Officer
Pay Rate – £12.43
Location – Braintree, Essex
Shift Timings – Days and nights, 2days/2nights and 4 days off. Day shifts will be 0700-1900 and night shifts will be 1900-#####
You will be working as a Security Officer in a government building based in Braintree. For this role, you will be required to patrol the site, conduct gatehouse duties, and monitor the airfield. The right candidate must be confident, and customer focused as we are looking for officers who willing to build up visitor/staff relationships, and to be the face of the company. We are looking for officers who have a driver’s license due to the lack of public transport in the area.

Your main responsibilities may include:
· Patrolling the site regularly
· Completing gate house checks
· Checking visitors in to the premises
· Monitoring the Airfield
· Checking health and safety hazards
· Completing incident reports when necessary
To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
SIA License.
Driver’s License
Minimal experience is preferred.
Customer service experience
5-year checkable work/career history.
Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
Possess the ability to work under pressure.
