Security Officer

About The RoleWe have a vacancy for a Security Officer to join our team who will be responsible for protecting the security and safety of the identified buildings and personnel at a busy client site and will ensure that assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner and meet relevant legislations.
You will be working Monday to Friday; 4-on-2 off shift pattern, 07:00 to 22:00, on a permanent full-time basis, 42.5 hours per week.
Your main responsibilities may also include:
Acting as a first line support to employees and visitors to site, providing a professional and friendly service.
Fire, security and building systems monitoring.
Service area barrier control and traffic management.
Maintaining a high profile, visible security presence.
Deterring anti-social behaviour, theft, and criminal activity.
Supporting retailers and stakeholders to promote a security conscious culture.
Writing statements and report as necessary.
Dealing with a wide range of security related incidents and offering expert guidance.
To succeed in this role you will need the following:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience of working within the Security Industry is an advantage.
SIA licence is essential, Door Supervisor. Close protection licence welcomed.
Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
A professional demeanour with sound judgement and integrity.
Experience in working in a fast-paced retail environment is desirable and an excellent Customer Service skills.
