As a security officer, you will work on the front lines of securing our beautiful property and providing excellent service to our guests.The Security Officer position is a 12-hour shift with rotating weekends off. 7:00 P.M. - 7:30 A.M.Responsibilities:Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests and visitors with any needs.Monitor security cameras, alarm systems and inspect all critical areas.Respond to incidents and assist guests and/or employees during the situation.Respond to emergency situations and assist as needed.Defuse guest disturbances and resolve conflicts in a professional manor.Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and facilitate interviews with relevant parties.Complete all required reports.Always maintain confidentiality.Enter and locate work-related information using computers.Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.Skills and Experience:Excellent problem-solving skillsTeam first attitudeYou may be required to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.Move, lift, carry, push, and place objects weighting less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and assist with moving objects weighting in excesses of 75 pounds.Be at least 18 years of agePossess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels or personnel and he general public in a professional and effective manner.Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.As a condition of employment, employees must successfully complete a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.Ability to handle high-stress situations.Education:High school diplomaArmed Security Officer; Dallas Law, Active Shooter certifications are preferred.Must be a minimum age of 21.Southall Farm and Inn is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
