Security Officer

Join G4S as a security officer at a prestigious site in Cambridge where you will be required to carry out duties in a busy environment where no two days will be the same and you will have the opportunity to carve out a career with the biggest name in security.

Your Time at Work

Position: Area Security Officer
Location: Cambridge
Pay Rate: £12.16 per hour
Hours: 42 hours a week on average
Shifts: 4 days on, 4 days off from 7:30am to 5:30pm
SIA license preferred.
Your duties include:

-     Greeting staff and visitors
-     Controlling access in and out of the site
-     Patrolling the premises and ensuring security protocols are being adhered to
-     Dealing with disturbances/ issues and security incidents
-     Dealing with first aid and incident reporting

Our Perfect Worker

It is crucial to have great communication and customer service skills. All our admin is digital and paperless, so you'll need to be tech-savvy enough to use our digital devices.

Our perfect Security Officer will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. It would be a benefit to have some security experience and your SIA license, however, it's not essential, as we provide full SIA (Security Industry Authority) license training.
