Security Officer

Great opportunity to work as a Security Officer, alongside a well-known client in the Cornwall area.

G4S is recruiting for a Security Officer to work in Saltash.

The rate of pay is £10.42 per hour.

This is a full-time role and the shift pattern is 8 on, 6 off. A mix of 12 hours and 8 hours shifts, 42 hours per week average over the month, 7 nights 1 day.

Your Time at Work

As a Security Officer at G4S, you are more than a Security Guard. You'll ensure the safety of our customers' staff, their buildings, and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment. Other duties include:

- Patrols of the site, mainly external
- Checks for security breaches
- Escalation of security breaches to management or the customer
- Liaising with authorities if required
- Report writing of any incidents on site
- Maintaining customer standards at all times

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker is a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Good IT knowledge is also key.

It would be a benefit to have some security experience and your SIA licence, however, it's not essential, as we provide full SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence training.
