About the role

Title – Security Officer

Pay Rate – £10.90 to £12.78

Location – Avonmouth and surrounding areas

Shift Timings – Various hours, both part time and full time between Monday to Sunday (shift times can be as early as 0700 start and 2300 finish)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work on behalf of our client as a security officer, based in various sectors such as retail, corporate and events. We are looking for candidates who are confident, outgoing, and have good energy, as well as being the type of officer that wants to help people and be a part of a team. All you need is an SIA licence!

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Premises.


• Offer support to visitors


• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit Points of the premises.


• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations.


• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• 1 years’ experience is security is preferred.


• SIA License.


• Be confident, outgoing, friendly, and willing to learn.


• 5-year checkable work/career history. 


• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.


• Possess the ability to work under pressure.
