Ward Security is on the lookout for an experienced Security Officer, who will work at our client’s premises at 95 Queen Victoria Street, London, located just moments from St Paul’s and the heart of the city, whilst the vibrant environs of Southbank are just minutes away.The ideal candidate will possess the skills to deliver an effective and efficient service to the client.Position: Security OfficerShift Pattern: 3 days (0700 to 1900hrs) – 3 nights (1900 to 0700hrs)- 3 offLocation: 95 Queen Victoria Street, London EC4V 4HNMust have:Valid Frontline SIA licenseProven work experience as a Cooperate Security Officer -min 1 yearGood customer service and communication skillsHigh level of self-presentationBasic IT skillsExperience within a similar position is preferredAbility to work well in a team and capable of working off own initiativeQuick thinking and problem-solving skillsA positive attitude to dealing with people and taking on challengesMain Duties:Act as a point of contact and information center to staff and visitors and tenantsAlways conduct yourself in a professional mannerEnsure all instructions, both written and verbal are adhered toGuard access points, permitting or refusing entry, restraining trespassersConduct foot patrols within defined areas as an effective deterrent in the protection of the client’s property and assets.Investigate and take the appropriate lawfully action as authorized by the corporate policy on accidents, incidents, trespassing, suspicious activities, safety and fire incidentsComplete daily reports, including relevant information, observations, surveillance footage, and signaturesExcellent communication skills to all levels – verbally, written, phone and by security radiosWho We Are:Ward Security provides security services solutions to a range of UK businesses.
