Job Description
Job Purpose
ICE is seeking an outstanding security professional to be responsible for assisting the regional security director with local strategy, implementation, and management of ICE’s Physical Security Program.
As an integral member of the Global Security team, the Security Manager will be the main liaison, both internally and externally, at ICE’s London office and responsible to oversee the physical security operations at this location, assess risk factors and identify measures to appropriately mitigate those risks.
The Security Manager’s role is to ensure the safety of all persons at ICE’s London office, compliance with any, and all, regulatory requirements including accurate identification of occupants of the complex, maintaining relations with law enforcement, emergency managers, and industry peers.
Responsibilities
Serve as ICE’s trusted local/regional resource for employees on any, and all, security concerns and suggestions.
Escalate, as appropriate, and in a timely manner, security related concerns and assist in the coordination of timely decisions and responses.
Maintain a high degree of discretion to ensure ICE’s interests and confidentiality are always protected.
The position requires “on-call” response.
Maintain a regular process for assessing the threat level toward ICE and its employees and facilities and share that information with the regional Director of Security or the Chief Security Officer to allow for a more effective response to any threat.
Participate in conducting policy and procedural reviews through audits to ensure each facility is compliant with ICE corporate standards and ICE internal audit reviews.
Provide appropriate investigations and follow-ups with accurate documentation and notifications, while following ICE processes and procedures.
Maintain liaison with law enforcement, emergency managers, and Intelligence community personnel, as well as private sector professionals to insure the timely and effective receipt of information on which to base company security assessments.
In support of the Chief Security Officer, the position will be expected to work in conjunction with the regional Director of Security to scan a wide variety of sources, as well as determine what information is pertinent and valuable in protecting ICE’s employees, facilities, and intellectual property.
The position may be required to support ICE with executive protection, event safety management, security and safety training, physical access and control management, contingency and continuity planning, life safety and fire code compliance, and internal/external investigations.
Attend meetings and conference calls as required and work in close cooperation with internal and external partners to insure total support of ICE’s physical security needs.
Perform essential administrative functions such as scheduling shift coverage, recording one’s time and attendance records, properly recording access to ICE facilities designated software, producing access credentials, and composing incident reports, as required.
Responsible for ICE’s security response during emergency situations including, but not limited to, terrorist related incidents, fires, water leaks, flood conditions, bomb threats, medical emergencies, etc.
Knowledge and Experience
Must have three (3) or more years in a security role, including at least two (2) years in a corporate security role.
Government law enforcement experience is a plus.
Must have five (5) or more years of management/supervisory experience.
Must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
Excellent relationships with corporate, government, and industry professionals.
Proven ability to effectively assess information to support business goals and operations.
Consistent comfort level operating both strategically and tactically, with poise under pressure to bring stakeholders together and accomplish common goals.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills required.
Strong cross-cultural respect, with an ability to build relationships with diverse personalities across all levels of the enterprise.
Excellent judgment and prioritization skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a complex matrix reporting structure.
Ability to handle very sensitive and highly confidential information with diplomacy and discretion.
First-aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and/or Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications, or the ability to obtain one or more of these certifications, would be a plus.
Knowledge of the following systems: CCTV, radio communication, card access control, facilities monitoring systems, and fire alarm systems.
Proficient in the use of a PC including the following software and applications; Microsoft Office (Internet Explorer, Outlook, Word, Excel), and Corporate specific applications used to record and balance expenses, time and labor, and prepare incident reports, as well as producing and updating corporate access system records.

This role offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week.
