This is a hands-on role that involves responding to cyber threats and incidents, performing digital forensics and investigations, and automating threat response playbooks. As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work on complex security challenges and work with engineers across the organization to improve the security posture of Klaviyo’s product, corporate, and cloud
environments.What you’ll be doingTriage and respond to cyber threats, alerts and incidentsDrive end-to-end incident response investigationsPerform host and network based log analysis in a cloud first environmentDevelop and codify threat response processes and playbooksPerform digital forensic investigations to include analysis, collection, and preservation of evidenceBuild security tools to automate threat response tasksDevelop detailed post incident and investigation reportsCollaborate with detection engineers to identify threat detection use casesWork with engineering stakeholders to improve security posture post investigationsWe’d love to hear from you if you have:2+ years of hands-on security operations experience in cloud-native environmentsExperience in triaging and responding to cyber threats, alerts, and incidentsExperience in log analysis, incident response and/or digital forensicsExperience with SIEM
and centralized data lake logging (e.g., Splunk, Snowflake)Experience with Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR)Experience securing cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, and/or AzureProficient in programming languages to automate/build features (e.g., Python, Go)Understand techniques, tools and procedures used by threat actorsStrong fundamentals of linux and macOSAutomation-first approach for all work performedStrong oral and written communication skillsTeam player with a strong self-managing work ethicEligibility to work in the UK without restrictionKlaviyo in EMEA : As part of the Klaviyo team you will be looked after with some great benefits locally in EMEA including equity for all, private health cover for you and discounted for your household, financial and professional coaching, a generous annual learning allowance (£2.5k), 22 weeks full pay primary care giver leave (16 week secondary) and free books (yes, any books!) to name a few.#LI-Hybrid #LI-ME1The pay range for this role is listed below.
