Our client is looking for an experienced Security professional to manage security risks for a Defence engineering department. The ideal candidate will have worked in a Defence or Nuclear organisation before and provided security assurance for IT, Engineering and Business solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to work closely with various departments and be the security 'go to'! This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days per week on site. Key responsibilities Provide security assurance on IT systems. Security risk management on engineering, business and IT solutions provided by our client. Write RMADs documents. Apply JSP 440 and JSP 604. Use your knowledge of security measures and how such systems employ security measures into the solution. Apply configuration management practices for information systems. Skills & experience Security/IA experience in a Defence/Nuclear/Government organisation. Experience writing RMADS. Knowledge of Government IA Policy, including JSP440, JSP604, DIANS and NCSC IA guidance. Demonstrable experience implementing security risk measures. Be a CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional and CISM Certified Information Security Manager Certified Cyber Professional (CCP) or similar. Relevant IT security experience.
