IntroductionMy client is a large defence and engineering consultancy who provide through life support to the MOD and other government clients.They are looking for an experienced Security Assurance Coordinator to manage security risks for an engineering department within the defence sector. You will need to have experience writing security cases.This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days per week onsite however you may need to more if the workload requires.Key responsibilitiesLeading the security assurance activity for Defence projects.Creating and running the accreditation structure (they are moving to secure by design).Collecting the assurance artifacts as designed by the Security Architects.Setting nonfunctional requirements.Writing accreditation security cases (RMADS and newer style documents).Implementing IA policies such as JSP440.Establishing and maintaining a good relationship with Accreditation Authorities.Applying risk management to different security controls.Skills & experienceWould suit an Ex-MOD accreditor.Writing of accreditation security cases (ideally RMADS).Defence experience is ideal, but they will consider candidates without that experience.Experience of close working relationships with Accreditation Authorities in the UK, as well as leading Security Working Groups as a way of managing security risks.Certifications are not essential, but they would be interested to see CISSP or CCP qualified candidates.Additional benefits25 days holiday, plus bank holidays.Pension contributions.Life assurance.Option of flexible benefits such as critical illness, dental or travel insurance and the option for a healthcare plan.Employee Share Scheme.Employee assistance programme.Up to 10 days extra paid leave for Reservists.Our client is committed to providing a diverse and inclusive workplace and welcomes applications from all backgrounds.RECOMMEND A FRIEND: If you have professional friends/colleagues who would be interested in one of our roles and our excellent levels of service too, we'd like to recognise your recommendations with a 'thank you' of our own.
