Section Engineer

My Client is a leading Civil Engineering specialist that are expects in Horizontal Drilling. They are currently seeking a Section Engineer for their projects in the Midlands. The successful candidate must have HDD experience and be willing to travel to the next project once this one has been completed.

The ideal candidate will have been an established section engineer for over 3 years and have a degree or HND in Civil Engineering.

Section Engineer duties include:

• Setting out drainage, roadworks, and services with surveying equipment (GPS & Robotic Total Stations)
• Assist with quality control to ensure the standards are met in accordance to the design specifications
• Assist in producing permits to break ground (CAT Scanning management)
• Ensuring the highest health, safety and environmental standards are met on site adhering to the client's and business's requirement
• Liaise with the site team to approve materials ensuring they meet specification
• Keep accurate records of progress reports, site diaries and resource allocations
• Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD

This is a long-term CIS assignment with a brilliant rate.
