Salary: £32k+ PkgLocation: SwindonRegion: South WestWe are currently seeking a Section Engineer to work for a main Civil Contractor who works across the UK specializing a variety of civil engineering sectors with a primary focus of Rail based projects. Role will be based in Swindon region with the candidate expected to travel intermittently to various project sites when required.Project: Minor Works of SAF Frameworks for main client Network RailKey Responsibilities:Produce RAMS and/or ensure that the ones produced by subcontractors demonstrate and maintain safe systems of work and maintain environmental standards throughout the project.Ensure that the subcontractor contractual programmes are running on time and with out issue.Monitor the progress of work against programme and advise on acceleration measures to retrieve any lost time.Be pro-active in obtaining design information with required time-scales for production work.Ensure that all sub contractors and suppliers plans and procedures are compatible with the client’s obligations and responsibilities.
