Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for a Mass Spectrometry Scientist to join a leading Biopharmaceutical company based in the Berkshire area. As the Mass Spectrometry Scientist you will be responsible for incorporating comprehensive detailed characterisation of proteins to elucidate their structure, funamrindaction and degradation pathways, as well as understanding protein production processes.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Your duties as the Mass Spectrometry Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:1. You will be performing analysis of protein therapeutics using mass spectrometric techniques.2. As the Mass Spectrometry Scientist you will be keeping accurate records and contributing to authorship of analytical aspects of regulatory submissions, technical procedures, protocols and reports.3. You will be researching specific analytical protocols (literature) and keep aware of latest analytical techniques. 4. As the Mass Spectrometry Scientist you will be ensuring lab equipment is properly maintained and functioning properly; initiating appropriate repair and maintenance.ROLE REQUIREMENTS:To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Mass Spectrometry Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:1. Relevant PhD or equivalent in an academic or industrial setting.2.
