Science Technician

Full Time - Term Time Only
We are looking for a Science Technician to join us in September to work alongside a team of Technicians and provide practical support to the Science Faculty.
You will prepare practical experiments, apparatus and resources for practical classes and assist with occasional clerical administration, as requested by the teaching staff in the Department for their lessons. This role has specific responsibility for providing a Science Technician service in SC1 and SC2, and for all Lower School Science lessons.
Working during term time, Monday to Friday 8am
4pm (term time and INSET), plus Saturday morningsand 5 additional days to be worked by agreement with the Head of Department for preparation during the holidays.
This role would suit a person who has initiative, is practical and well organised, and who enjoys working as part of a team.
Experience of working within a science environment is advantageous but not essential.
£16,067 per annum for working 34 weeks per year. (FTE £21,108)
