Role: Science Technician

Location: Salford

Qualiteach is currently looking for an experienced science technician for a mainstream secondary academy based within the Salford�area. The role is due to begin on 15/04/2024 and is offered on a full-time, permanent basis.

Ideally you will have worked as a science technician within a school, academy or college previously but the school are happy to consider applicants with a strong science background with industry experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting up and clearing away the equipment


• Assisting the science teacher with practical science experiments


• Ensuring all aspects of health & safety are adhered to


• Stock control


• Ensuring all equipment is safe and stored safely


• Supporting the science department and head of science as and when required

Key Requirements:

• Right to work in the UK


• Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service


• Able to start on 15/04/2024 and commit on a permanent basis


• Excellent communication skills


• High attention to detail
